These Girls Have Grown Up To Be Beautiful Flowers

Last night was my niece's Farrah prom party. She wanted Rebecca and her younger sister to go with her, so for the past two weeks Rebecca has been excited about going to her first prom.

Two days ago I took her to get her first manicure and pedicure to a salon, and yesterday I went with her to get a haircut and get her hair pretty for the party. Of course I took advantage of that and got my hair colored, got a haircut and got it blow dried.

Here are the girls. (From left to right: Rebecca, Gigiola, Farrah) Don't they look like princesses? I'm not just saying that because I'm the mom and the aunt, but I really think they looked beautiful.

Rebecca was gonna get her hair up, but at the last minute she decided to have it straight.

I can't imagine what I'm gonna feel when it's my daughter's turn to go to her prom, I think I will cry my eyes out, because even though it was my niece's prom, I got a little knot in my throat. I have seen this kids grow up together since they were born, and I can't believe that time has passed so fast. Oh by the way it is Farrah's birthday today, so Happy Birthday Farrita! I love you.
